Move with freedom and manage pain with the support of an experienced NDIS registered physiotherapist who comes to you.
Your ability to move and lead an active life shouldn’t be hindered by disability. This is where physiotherapy comes into the picture.
NDIS physiotherapy includes tools and rehabilitation that provide critical care and assistance. These include providing treatment for pain management, management of specific conditions, at-home exercise for rehabilitation, and support for using mobility aids and equipment.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can help you get the support you need from an experienced physiotherapist.
Moving Healthcare is a premier NDIS physiotherapy provider. Our team provides complete therapeutic support and services to NDIS participants in Melbourne. We specialise in providing at-home NDIS physiotherapy in Melbourne. We aim to bring respectful, effective, comfortable, and highly convenient services in the comfort of your home.
We complete thorough assessments and deliver personalised ongoing care. We communicate regularly with your entire team to ensure the care you receive is holistic.

Our team supports NDIS participants in achieving their movement goals. Our proficiency includes understanding the specific needs of various disabilities, conducting thorough assessments, and developing tailored treatment plans. We are well-versed in NDIS-specific language and procedures, which allows us to write clear, detailed, persuasive reports and letters to help you get the most out of your NDIS plan.
Neurological physio is a key area of expertise within our team. We understand the intricacies of conditions like multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy, and we’re well-versed in the latest approaches to best assist in their management. Our treatments focus on improving motor function, balance, and coordination through targeted exercises and hands-on techniques.
We excel in hydrotherapy – a highly effective yet often underutilised treatment for NDIS participants. We offer personalised, hands-on support to guide your therapy. Our expertise in water-based exercises provides a unique and powerful approach to improving mobility and overall well-being. We can include hydrotherapy into your treatment plan and can coordinate with other healthcare providers in your team.
Each of our clinicians brings at least six years of experience working across diverse healthcare settings, including hospitals, rehab centres, private practice, and in the community. This breadth of experience gives us a thorough understanding of the healthcare system and the role of physiotherapy in your healthcare plan. We excel in coordinating with other professionals to provide holistic, integrated care.
Compliance with NDIS Standards: Registered providers meet the NDIS Practice Standards, ensuring they deliver high-quality, safe support and services. This rigorous approval process demonstrates commitment to quality care.
Recognition and Trust: Choosing a registered provider means you’re working with a provider fully recognized by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) for adhering to their guidelines and quality benchmarks.
Direct Invoicing to NDIS Portal: Registered providers can send invoices directly to your NDIS portal, streamlining the billing process and ensuring transparency.
Adherence to Price Caps: Registered providers must adhere to the price caps set by the NDIA, ensuring that your funding is used efficiently and appropriately.
Access for All Funding Types: As an NDIS Registered provider, we can work with participants who are self-managed, plan-managed, or agency-managed. If you’re agency-managed or NDIA-managed, you must use an NDIS Registered Provider like us (lucky you!).
The NDIS budget is divided into three categories: Core Supports, Capital Supports, and Capacity Building Supports. Each category funds different aspects of your care, helping you achieve your goals and improve your quality of life.
Often, participants will use their Capacity Building funds for physiotherapy, and if these funds run out but they still need ongoing treatment, they can then access their Core Supports to continue receiving physio.
At Moving Healthcare, we help you navigate these options, ensuring you make the most of your NDIS funding to receive the support you need. If you’re unsure how physiotherapy fits into your NDIS budget, feel free to contact us, and we’ll guide you through the process.
NDIS physiotherapy funding can be used to fund physiotherapy appointments, purchase equipment or cover the cost of transport to and from appointments. Not everyone who has NDIS funding is eligible for a physiotherapy appointment. Only a certain percentage of people who have issues with mobility transfers or pain are eligible.
If you think you might be eligible, talk to your support coordinator about getting a referral from your GP. Once you have a referral, you can contact our team to make an appointment.
NDIS physiotherapy is particularly beneficial for individuals with physical, neurological, or developmental disabilities. This includes NDIS participants with conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, stroke recovery, or brain injuries. Physiotherapy is also valuable for NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities like autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and schizophrenia, where it can help manage physical symptoms related to your disability and enhance overall well-being. It is crucial for participants facing mobility challenges or chronic pain.
